We are a team of doctoral researchers who are focused on women and leadership. Our research aim is to better understand women social entrepreneurs from a global and multicultural lens. The results of our study will enable us to contrast leadership styles in different geographies.

Dr. Angelica Larios is a Ph.D. in Strategic Leadership from Regent University, VA. Angelica is an entrepreneur in Mexico, combining IT and PM skills. She has been a volunteer since 2007 for the PMI local chapter in Mexico, being Former President, and in various positions within PMI (CMAG, BVAC, EMAG). She is the author of several published articles in projectmprojectmanagement, pmworldjournal and Grebennikno in Rusia. Angelica has been elected as a member of the board of directors (BOD) of the ILA (International Leadership Association) (2021-2024).

Dr. Banya Barua bridges the gap between academics and consultants. She is the founder and CEO of Esse management Consultants and researches and teaches through RMIT University. She works as a management consultant and has 20 plus years of experience working with people in human resources and strategic human resources. She specialises in leadership, leadership development and takes a special interest in women and diversity. Her research is mainly in corporate mindfulness and workplace wellbeing. She integrates her research areas with her specialisation and special interests.

JOANNE VAZQUEZ
Dr. Joanne Vázquez de Príncipe, DM, is recognized as a scholar, practitioner, and industry leader. The Doctor’s career spans more than three decades of multidisciplinary experience in business and academia. Her career progressed throughout the years within several professional services industries, such as legal, non-profit, finance, and government, with specialties ranging from global HCM to change enablement and OD excellence to strategic planning initiatives. As an industry thought leader, she presented at various community events such as the International Leadership Association (ILA), where she is the Chair-elect of the Leadership and Coaching member community, and the Women in Reliability and Asset Management (WIRAM) community of practice. Presently, Dr. Joanne is an Associate Faculty of Doctoral Organizational Behavior at the College of Doctoral Studies affiliated with the University of Phoenix, USA, Faculty Assessment Laison, industry SME for doctoral curriculum enhancements, and a Fellow-in-Residence for the Center of Leadership Studies and Organizational Research.
